Waterproof. Packable. Ready for Whatever the Sky Does.
Most packable daypacks are fair weather friends. They fold down beautifully, clip to your pack effortlessly, and completely fail the moment a real storm rolls in. AllWeather Fold is built differently. This ultralight packable daypack combines lotus leaf waterproof technology that beads rain off the surface instantly with a design that folds down to a tiny 8x3x13cm drawstring pouch small enough to disappear into any bag or pocket. The bold red bungee cord front panel holds wet layers, jackets, and bulky gear on the outside keeping the main compartment dry and organized. The lotus leaf coating handles thunderstorms with ease so the contents inside stay completely protected no matter how hard it rains. Mesh padded shoulder straps keep the carry comfortable across all-day wear. And the carabiner clip on the stuff pouch means it travels attached to your main kit at all times. One pack. All weather. Every trail. Folded when you don't need it. Deployed and dry when you do.
✅ Lotus Leaf Waterproof Technology AllWeather Fold is built with a lotus leaf effect waterproof coating that causes rain to bead and roll off the surface instantly rather than soaking through the nylon under sustained rainfall, which means your pack body sheds thunderstorm-level rain with ease rather than gradually saturating and allowing moisture to penetrate to your gear inside the main compartment, so that you hike confidently through sudden weather changes and unexpected downpours knowing everything inside AllWeather Fold stays completely dry regardless of how long the storm lasts or how hard it falls on the trail.
✅ Folds to 8x3x13cm Drawstring Pouch AllWeather Fold compresses completely into its own drawstring pouch measuring just 8x3x13cm with an integrated carabiner clip that attaches to any pack, belt loop, or gear point for hands-free travel between uses, which means you carry a full-size waterproof daypack on your person at essentially zero space and weight cost against your existing kit, so that you always have a dry weather-ready backup pack available the exact moment a day hike, side trip, or unexpected adventure extends beyond what your main pack can comfortably handle.
✅ Red Bungee Cord External Attachment System AllWeather Fold features a bold red bungee cord front panel system with multiple anchor points that securely holds wet rain jackets, bulky layers, and fast-access gear flat against the outside of the pack, which means your wet gear travels separated from your dry main compartment contents rather than soaking through to everything else packed inside, so that you stay organized and dry on the inside even when the weather demands you keep wet gear accessible on the outside for repeated use across a long unpredictable trail day.
✅ Mesh Padded Shoulder Straps AllWeather Fold is built with mesh padded shoulder straps that cushion the carry and allow airflow across your shoulders simultaneously despite the pack's ultralight packable construction, which means you wear AllWeather Fold comfortably across full days of trail use without the thin unpadded straps that most packable alternatives use cutting into your shoulders and creating the strap soreness that forces you to take the bag off long before your day on the trail is actually finished, so that AllWeather Fold stays on your back comfortably from the first trail mile to the last no matter what the weather demands of you along the way.

Cheap Packable Bags Rip When Loaded — Trail Nomads Folds Compact But Carries Real Weight
The Packable Bag That Actually Carries Real Weight Without Ripping
Ready To Stop Leaving Backup Capacity Behind?
High-Density Nylon That Actually Survives Real Loads Without Tearing
Instead of tissue-thin packable fabrics that rip open when you load more than a few pounds or snag on branches and tear during normal trail use, this uses reinforced high-density nylon that maintains structural integrity even when fully loaded with water bottles, extra layers, food, and the random gear you end up carrying unexpectedly, which means you can actually use it as a functional daypack instead of just an emergency stuff sack that can't handle weight, so you're not discovering mid-hike that your backup bag has torn open and is spilling contents because the fabric couldn't handle normal hiking loads. Just load it with real weight and trust it won't fail when you're miles from the trailhead with gear that needs to get back to your vehicle somehow.
Folds Into Compact Pouch That Doesn't Waste Pack Space
Instead of backup bags that claim to be packable but still take up a liter of space in your main pack even when compressed, this folds into its own integrated pouch that's smaller than a water bottle and fits in side pockets or dead spaces where you'd never fit a traditional daypack, which means you can carry backup capacity without sacrificing space you need for actual hiking essentials or feeling like you're lugging around a second bag that only might get used, so you're not making gear compromises just to have emergency carrying capacity available. Just fold it down, toss it in a corner of your pack, and forget about it until the moment you need extra cargo space—then it's there without having cost you meaningful weight or volume during the entire hike.
Waterproof Construction That Protects Contents During Weather Changes
Instead of basic packable bags that offer zero weather protection and soak through completely when rain hits or you're crossing streams with extra gear, the waterproof nylon coating sheds water and keeps contents dry during the unexpected weather that always seems to arrive when you've got your backup bag deployed and loaded, which means extra layers and electronics you're carrying don't get soaked just because you needed auxiliary storage space, so you're not dealing with wet gear failures because your backup bag turned everything you put in it into a sopping mess. Just use it in whatever weather conditions you encounter and trust that contents stay protected instead of treating it like it requires perfect conditions to remain functional.
Properly Designed Shoulder Straps That Actually Distribute Weight
Instead of cheap packable bags with string-thin straps that cut into your shoulders the moment you load more than five pounds, creating painful pressure points that make carrying anything miserable, this uses adequately padded shoulder straps that distribute load across your shoulders comfortably enough to hike several miles with meaningful weight, which means you can actually use this as a functional daypack for hauling gear instead of just an emergency carrier you suffer through for the last quarter mile, so you're not regretting every step because the straps are digging into your shoulders and making you wish you'd just hand-carried everything instead. Just load it, adjust the straps, and hike comfortably with the extra cargo instead of dealing with painful strap-cutting that makes backup capacity not worth using.

-
Hauled out fifteen pounds of trash
Found a trashed campsite and used this to pack out garbage other hikers left behind. Held the weight fine for three miles back to the trailhead without ripping.
-
Forgot it was even packed
Carried this compressed in my pack for two weeks before I needed it. Takes up so little space I literally forgot I had backup capacity available.
-
Carried extra water comfortably
Needed to haul four liters from a water source back to dry camp, and the shoulder straps distributed the weight well enough to make the carry manageable.
-
Survived unexpected rain
Got caught in a storm with this loaded, and everything inside stayed dry. Not bombproof, but adequate protection for real weather.
-
Trail town resupply hauler
Used this to carry groceries and gear from town back to my campsite two miles away. Worked perfectly for that specific use case.
-
Shared load with injured partner
Hiking partner hurt their ankle and I redistributed their gear between my main pack and this. Carried maybe twenty pounds comfortably for five miles.
-
Handled rough trail abuse
Caught it on branches and rocks multiple times and the fabric didn't tear. Tougher than I expected for how light it is.
-
Summit descent layer carrier
Carried all the layers I shed during the climb back down without them taking up space in my small summit pack.
-
Actually deployed it regularly
Most backup gear sits unused, but I've pulled this out probably a dozen times in six months for random carrying needs.
FAQs
What's the actual capacity when fully deployed, and how much weight can it realistically handle?
When expanded, you're looking at approximately 20-25 liters of capacity, which is standard daypack volume for short hikes and cargo hauling. Weight-wise, it'll comfortably handle 20-25 pounds without structural failure or strap discomfort, though we'd recommend keeping it under 20 for extended carrying comfort. This isn't meant to replace a proper 40-liter backpacking pack—it's backup capacity for when you need to carry extra gear, water, trash, or purchases that don't fit in your main pack. For reference, that's enough room for several water bottles, extra layers, food for the day, and miscellaneous gear without straining the bag's limits.
How small does it actually fold down, and will it stay compressed in my pack?
It folds into its integrated pouch to roughly the size of a large grapefruit—small enough to fit in most pack side pockets or tuck into unused spaces without taking up valuable gear room. Once folded, it stays compressed on its own without needing separate stuff sacks or compression straps. The folded size is legitimately compact, not the "packable" marketing lie where it's still bulky even compressed. You can literally forget it's in your pack until you need it, which is the whole point of carrying backup capacity.
Is the waterproofing adequate for actual rain, or just light splashes?
It's water-resistant enough for rain showers and splashes—contents stay dry during moderate rain exposure and stream crossings where you're getting spray. What it's NOT rated for is full submersion or extended downpours where water has time to seep through seams and zippers. For most hiking situations where you encounter rain or need to protect contents from moisture, it performs adequately. If you're carrying electronics or critical gear that absolutely cannot get wet during storms, add a dry bag inside as extra insurance. The waterproofing is functional backup protection, not bombproof expedition-grade sealing.
Will the zippers and straps hold up after multiple uses, or is this a one-time emergency bag?
The hardware is built for repeated use—we're talking dozens of pack/unpack cycles and regular carrying sessions, not disposable one-use construction. The zippers are reinforced beyond what cheap packable bags use, and the strap attachment points are bar-tacked to handle load stress. That said, this is still a lightweight packable design, so don't expect the same durability as a full-construction hiking pack that weighs three times as much. With reasonable care (not overstuffing, normal hiking use), it'll serve you for multiple seasons. Just don't abuse it like expedition gear and expect it to survive—respect that it's optimized for packability with adequate durability, not maximum bombproof construction.
Can I use this as my primary daypack for regular hikes, or is it only meant as backup?
You could use it as a primary daypack for light day hikes where you're carrying minimal gear—water, snacks, a layer or two. The comfort and features aren't quite on par with dedicated daypacks that have better organization, suspension systems, and padding. Where this excels is as backup capacity you're always carrying just in case, or for situations where you don't want to bring a full daypack but might need carrying capacity (trail town runs, base camp day hikes, etc.). If you're regularly doing 10+ mile day hikes with full gear, invest in a proper daypack. If you want something that's always in your pack for the times you unexpectedly need it, this is perfect.
